Bids will be received by IAP, Governement Services Group on 3/9/2021 12:00PM for OH5-21-0001-Chiller Replacement. This project consists of replacing an existing 40 Ton ground mounted chiller unit with Alternate cost to replace pipe insulation/PVC jacket along with piping. This project may be considered prevailing wage. A Site Walk is scheduled for 2/23/2021 11:00AM.
Board Meeting
The March Board of Trustees meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 10th, 7:30p.m. at the Library Annex.
UPDATE-REOPENING
The Barnesville Hutton Memorial Library is excited to announce the next step in our phased reopening plan, which will begin on Monday, August 31st.
Hours will be:
Monday 9:00a.m. – 7:00p.m.
Tuesday 9:00a.m. – 6:00p.m.
Wednesday 9:00a.m. – 6:00p.m.
Thursday 9:00a.m. – 7:00p.m.
Friday 9:00a.m. – 6:00p.m.
Saturday 9:00a.m. - 1:00p.m.
Curbside service will still be available.
THINGS TO KNOW
*Staff will be wearing masks, and for the safety of all, patrons need to do so as well when visiting the library.
*We will be practicing social distancing and have installed plexiglass barriers at the circulation desk.
*Computers and seating have been adjusted to promote social distancing. Limited computers will be available for 1 hour time sessions for essential use that will require signing in at the Circulation Desk.
*All returned material will be quarantied for at lesast 72 hours before they are checked in and made available for the next patron. Please continue to use the Book Drops or the designated area near the Circulation Desk for all returns!
*High touch surfaces will be cleaned at more frequent intervals. Reduced hours will also allow for more thorough cleaning.
*All programs and meeting rooms are suspended.
*Children 12 or younger need to be accompianed by an adult. In addition, all play/learning items have been put away in the children’s area.
*We are asking that you keep the time spent in the library minimal to allow access to everyone.
We know this has been difficult for everyone, and appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate safely through the reopening phases.

The SEO Libraries App makes it easy to digitally browse the library’s collection, get details on items, make a selection, checkout or place a hold for later pickup, and even renew items previously checked out. Digital content can also be checked out too with the touch of a button. The app’s location finder lets members find the location and operating hours of the nearest library location. Comprehensive account management is built-in too, including the ability to place and renew holds, view their fines and fees, and for families, members can link together digital library cards to easily manage multiple accounts.
